One of them can be heard jokingly saying "God bless your soul" moments before he jumps.UP man jumps into dam from 30 feet for reelA 32-year-old man in Uttar Pradesh’s Jhansi suffered fractures in both legs after he jumped into a dam from a height of around 30 feet while attempting a stunt for a social media reel.Pushpendra Kumar Manouria had visited the Pahuj Dam area with his friends on Sunday evening. His friends were recording the stunt when he crossed a safety railing at a viewpoint and jumped into the water.A video of the incident has gone viral, showing Pushpendra climbing over the railing as his friends film him. One of them can be heard jokingly saying "God bless your soul" moments before he jumps.The stunt went wrong when Pushpendra landed on a rocky surface beneath the water. The impact fractured both his legs. Unable to use his legs after the fall, Pushpendra struggled to get out of the water. He eventually managed to move himself using his hands and grabbed a rod to pull himself towards safety. Bystanders then helped him out.Cops arrived at the spot after being alerted about the accident and Pushpendra was taken to a private hospital. His family also arrived after being informed. Doctors operated on one of his legs and inserted two rods because of the severity of the injury. The other leg is also expected to undergo surgery.Speaking about the incident, Pushpendra said he had performed stunts at several places in the past and believed he could manage this one as well. However, he was unaware that the water was shallow at the spot where he jumped.He remained in the water for some time after suffering injuries before managing to pull himself out with the help of a rod and his friends.Pushpendra has since acknowledged the risk involved in performing such stunts for social media.
