He immediately stopped his vehicle to help.The police officer checked on the devotee's health, offered him water and ensured he received first aid, providing immediate relief before taking another step to ensure his journey could continue.Pravesh Kumar Sharma and the police personnel accompanying him lifted the devotee's Kanwar - a decorated bamboo pole used by pilgrims to carry holy water from sacred rivers to offer at Lord Shiva temples - onto their own shoulders and carried it safely to his companions. The police officers then reunited the devotee with his group so that he could resume the pilgrimage once he recovered.Many onlookers said that it was not just saffron-clad Kanwariyas on the route but also "uniformed Kanwariyas" serving devotees with equal dedication.
