THE UK’s biggest fried chicken chain is opening its very first wine bar as part of an iconic collaboration. The global fast-food restaurant is teaming up with a very apt vino brand to bring together two of life’s greatest things. KFC is teaming up with the iconic Chicken Wine for something very special The fast food chain and wine brand are pairing bottle with bucket Any affordable wine fan will likely be familiar with La Vieille Ferme – fondly known as Chicken Wine. The easy-to-drink French wine range is known for its refreshing rose, crisp white, fruity red and delicate fizz – all of which boast purse-friendly price tags. This August Bank Holiday weekend, the famous fast food chain and popular wine brand will host the ultimate wine bar pop- up named Coq au Vin. Located in London‘s Shoreditch, guests can pop along to try legendary KFC menu items expertly paired with a selection of Chicken Wines. Coq au Vin will land at Kachette Annex on Kingsland Road to serve chicken and wine from August 28 to 31. The pop- up will allow visitors to experience a full finger lickin’ menu featuring Popcorn Chicken, Hot Wings and Chicken Tenders along with an array of Chicken Wines that perfectly complement. Coq au Vin will be open from 12pm to 9pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and until 5pm on Bank Holiday Monday – and tickets are available now. Dips Original Sauce, Supercharger and Texas BBQ Tickets are £15 and include the full Coq au Vin experience over a 90 minute time slot.
