Ukrainians welcome respite from Russian attacks, Moscow says peace still far off

KYIV/KHARKIV, May 9 - Ukrainians welcomed a three-day ceasefire brokered by the U.S. as a much-needed break from years of attacks from Russia as it came into effect on Saturday, even though the Kremlin said a longer-term peace deal remained a long way off.
