Ukraine Strikes Russian Drone Command Posts, Rubicon Depot in the Donetsk, Luhansk Region

Ukraine’s Armed Forces struck several Russian military targets in eastern Ukraine on Tuesday and overnight into Wednesday, including drone command posts, a drone depot operated by Russia’s Rubicon unit and military logistics facilities, Ukraine’s General Staff said. Another target was a drone storage depot belonging to Rubicon near Volnovakha. Rubicon is a specialized Russian defense ministry drone warfare center established in 2024. It is involved in combat operations, drone operator training, and the development and testing of unmanned systems. Its units operate reconnaissance and strike drones, including FPV drones, against Ukrainian forces. Ukrainian forces also struck Russian logistics facilities. A fuel and lubricants depot was hit near Kundriuche in the Luhansk region, while two other military supply warehouses were struck near Hirnyk and Velyka Shyshovka in the Donetsk region, the General Staff said. Near Krasnohorivka in the Donetsk region, Ukrainian forces also struck an area where personnel from a Russian drone unit were concentrated.
