UKMTO: Tanker reports two explosions while transiting Strait of Hormuz

The master of a tanker has reported hearing two explosions while transiting the Strait of Hormuz, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said on Wednesday.The UKMTO said it received a delayed report of an incident involving the vessel about 9 nautical miles (17 km) southeast of Kumzar, Oman.The crew and the vessel are safe, and no environmental damage was reported, the UKMTO said.
