UKMTO reports strike on vessel in Strait of Hormuz

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) agency said on Tuesday that a vessel was hit by an apparent projectile while transiting the Strait of Hormuz on Monday evening, causing a fire. The fire was later put out and the crew were all safe, with the vessel continuing its journey. There was no reported environmental impact, and the extent of damage to the vessel was still being assessed, the UKMTO said.
