Sylvanie-Imagn Images The biggest move at UFC 333 is the featherweight title fight. Movsar Evloev opened as a -185 favorite over champion Alexander Volkanovski at +160, and the fight is now essentially a pick'em. This is a card where the market has moved toward balance in several fights. I only found reliable opening numbers for the main event, so the rest of this piece is a snapshot of where the lines are today.Volkanovski Erases a Huge DeficitThe Forbes line-movement piece put the original numbers at Evloev -185 and Volkanovski +160, then noted the bout had moved to a pick'em by early October. By midweek, F4W listed both men at -110. Other books are split. DraftKings had Evloev at -115 and Volkanovski at -105, and one aggregator showed Evloev at -113 and Volkanovski at -106. Prediction markets are even closer, with Volkanovski at 51% on Kalshi. My read is that the original line overweighted Evloev's undefeated record and his grinding style. Bettors then pushed back and decided that Volkanovski, an all-time great and a two-time champion, was too good to be a +160 underdog. Evloev is a legitimate threat because of his wrestling and cardio. But the market now says that the champion's experience, volume, and ability to adapt across five rounds are worth far more than the opener gave him credit for.The pick'em price also tells you what bettors expect: a long, competitive fight. The over on 4.5 rounds is priced at -235 at one book and -260 at another. The market sees this as a five-round fight that could come down to a single round. The Co-Main Is Tighter Than It LooksPetr Yan and Merab Dvalishvili meet for the third time, and they are tied 1-1. Yan is the favorite across the board, but the number varies by book. F4W had him at -175 with Dvalishvili at +145, while DraftKings had Yan at -162 and Dvalishvili at +136. Fightodds showed numbers in the -150 to -160 range for Yan. That is a modest drift toward Dvalishvili from the early-week numbers, though I can't confirm the opening price.Covers gives Yan a 58% chance to win, and its analyst argues Yan "solved" Dvalishvili in their second fight. The method markets are interesting. Prediction markets give 70% that the fight goes the distance. That fits the story of two elite fighters who know each other well. It went from -120/+100 to -125 at some books.Kavanagh versus Temirov looks like the closest fight on the card. It is listed as Kavanagh -102 and Temirov -114 at one book, and Temirov -115 at another.sports.yahoo+1Pico versus Keita is close too, at around -105 to -117 for Pico, depending on the book. Pico's original opponent, Allen, was cancelled.Murzakanov is a -215 to -220 favorite over Reyes, and Yakhyaev is about -450 to -480 over Krylov.Chopurov is the biggest favorite on the card at roughly -550 to -575 over Thicknesse.Only three of the 14 priced fights have a favorite above 70%, so this is a card where most bouts could go either way. That's the real story of the market. Opening numbers were more confident than where the lines now sit, and bettors have. Our Current Best OffersChannel debug: betting
