TYSON FURY told Anthony Joshua and Eddie Hearn to “suck a d***” after they questioned whether he would travel to Saudi Arabia to watch AJ’s fight this weekend. The former heavyweight world champion says his only focus is getting through Friday night’s contest before returning home to spend time with his family. Asked about comments from Joshua welcoming him to the ring, and promoter Eddie Hearn doubting he’d actually miss the fight, Fury blew his top. He exclusively told SunSport: “Suck a d***, both of them. “I’m not interested, I’ve got my own business to take care of and what he does with his business is his own fault, nothing to do with me.” It was another fiery chapter in the rivalry between Britain’s two biggest heavyweight stars, whose long-awaited clash has repeatedly slipped through the cracks over recent years. Now, with both men back in action on the same weekend, excitement is building that fans could finally get the fight they have demanded for almost a decade. His attention remains fixed on veteran Pole Wach, who outweighs him by more than 26lb and is expected to provide valuable rounds ahead of a potential November mega-fight. Victory in Thailand would keep Fury on course for what would undoubtedly become the biggest fight in British boxing history. Joshua must first overcome Albanian heavyweight Prenga in Saudi Arabia to keep his side of the bargain. Only then can attention fully turn to a showdown years in the making. For Fury, though, there will be no ringside scouting mission and no interest in what unfolds after his own bout. His message to Joshua and Hearn could not have been clearer: he has business to finish first, and everyone else can worry about theirs. Fury told iFLTV on Wednesday: “I’m going home, to the Isle of Man, to my wife and kids who I’ve been away from for 10 weeks. “It’s been 10 years in the making or more, I’m sure we can wait another few months.” Yet, some believe that Fury is playing with smoke and mirrors and could surprise fans by showing up after all.
