Two women stabbed to death after family dispute in Hyderabad

Two women were allegedly stabbed to death by a relative following a family dispute in Hyderabad, on Wednesday evening. The accused, identified as Siddiqui, is absconding, police said.According to preliminary information, Siddiqui allegedly attacked his mother-in-law and other members of his in-laws' family in Jayashree Colony, Meerpet, with a knife following a heated argument. The two women died on the spot.The incident comes hours after the victims reportedly approached Meerpet police earlier in the day, expressing concerns over their safety and seeking protection from the accused.Following the attack, Siddiqui fled the scene. Meerpet police registered a case and formed special teams to trace and apprehend the accused. The bodies of the deceased women have been shifted for postmortem examination.
