Two women in hospital with ‘life-altering’ injuries after triple stabbing near shopping centre as three arrested

TWO women have been left with “potentially life-altering” injuries after a triple stabbing near a shopping centre. Police were called to reports that three people had been stabbed in a flat on Wasnidge Walk, Nottingham, before jumping from a window together. All three people – a 27-year-old man and two women, aged 26 and 31 – have since been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. The trio remain in hospital at this time with the women’s injuries described as potentially life-altering but not currently life-threatening. Nottinghamshire Police has now launched an investigation into the incident, saying no wider risk to the public is posed. The force is appealing for any information that may assist their probe into the horror. Chief Inspector Kylie Davies, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We are still in the early stages of our investigation into this complex incident, but can confirm that three suspects have now been arrested. “All three are currently receiving treatment in hospital, having appeared to have sustained stab wounds and other injuries at various stages of this incident, which was isolated and poses no threat to the wider public.
