Two women fighting for life after forklift fire spreads in Brisbane

September 4, 2026 — 2:34pmTwo people are fighting for life and others are in hospital after a machinery blaze in Brisbane.A forklift caught fire and the blaze spread to nearby shipping containers at a facility on Anton Road in Hemmant just after 11am on Friday.Fire crews extinguished a blaze in Hemmant on Friday.
