Two-wheeler rider killed after KSRTC bus runs over her

A 38-year-old woman was killed after a KSRTC bus ran over her in Channankara, near Kadinamkulam, on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Rajimol, who hailed from Channankara. According to the Kadinamkulam police, the accident occurred while Rajimol was attempting to overtake a KSRTC bus. However, her scooter collided with both an oncoming mini lorry and the KSRTC bus, which caused her to lose control of the vehicle and fall onto the road.She was thrown onto the road, and the rear wheel of the KSRTC bus ran over her. Having sustained grievous injuries, she died on the spot. The body was later shifted to the mortuary of the Chirayinkeezhu Taluk Hospital. The police have registered a case.
