Two men and a teenage boy charged with attempted murder over shooting that left three injured

Police rushed to Braintree in Essex at around 10pm on Monday, August 31, after reports of a 'targeted attack'.Two teenagers sustained serious injuries to their faces and upper bodies. A third person was also injured in the attack.Destiny Ema, 23, Kayden Brown, 18, and a 17-year-old boy who cannot be named due to his age were arrested following the shooting.They have now all been charged with attempted murder and appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court today.A 16-year-old boy previously arrested in connection with the incident has been released on police bail until November 30.Ema was also charged with numerous other offences connected to separate investigations, including attempted GBH with intent, four firearm offences, harassment and malicious communications. We know an incident of this nature, in such a prominent public location, will have caused concern.'We remain committed to keeping our communities safe and are grateful for the information and assistance we have received from the public.'Chief Superintendent Rob Kirby said on Tuesday: 'Two teenage boys are currently receiving treatment for injuries to their face and upper body, which thankfully are much less serious than they could have been and are not life-threatening.''At this stage we do not believe this to be a random attack, but instead directed by one specific group towards another specific group.'
