Two California students swept out to sea and drowned while napping on beach

Harshita Nair and Mahial Sran, both college students, tragically lost their lives after being swept out to sea by massive waves and dangerous rip currents at a Santa Cruz beach. Despite rescue crews pulling them out of the water, they succumbed to their injuries at local hospitals.
