Twitch just allowed generative AI to automatically train on your stream: here's how to turn it off

If you don't want this to happen, you can disable it by following these steps: Head over to the Twitch website. Click on your user icon, then click Settings. Click on Security and Privacy. Scroll down to the Privacy section. Click the toggle for Training for Generative AI. Twitch notes that while this does stop Amazon from training off your channel's content, it doesn't prevent all AI processes from affecting your channel. Some examples of AI processes that will still influence your Twitch stream include real-time sponsorship campaigns, cultivating user stream recommendations, and powering the automatic Twitch chat moderation system AutoMod. The user reception to this feature has been seemingly overwhelmingly negative. Users are taking to social media to protest the change, and a new thread titled "Make all AI features optional, and opt-out by default" has been created on the Twitch User Voice website where people can air their displeasure. Said thread has received 13,486 votes at the time of writing, and continues to climb.
