Matthew Baker/Getty Images for ABA Shania Twain said one habit that her husband, Fred Thiébaud, insists on has made their marriage stronger.Speaking to People in an interview published on Thursday, the singer said her husband's approach to conflict resolution has had a positive impact on their relationship."He's really good at reminding both of us that we have to keep communication open," Twain said.The "That Don't Impress Me Much" singer said she is "blessed as a woman" to have a partner who is unafraid to share how he feels."He's the greatest talker, and he's not inhibited at all with expressing his feelings, which is really wonderful in a man," she said.Although she thinks of herself as "a good communicator," Twain said she prefers to "meditate over the issue, take a walk, or be alone with my guitar if I'm having a marital issue."On the other hand, her husband believes in working through problems together. "Fred wants to talk about it. He wants to talk it through, and he wants to fix it," Twain said. "And that's the best advice. I mean, he's not wrong."Twain and Thiébaud have been married since 2011.
