TV’s sexiest new show shocks viewers with scenes of wild romping, drug taking and steamy hot tub hook-ups

BRAND new drama series The Shards may have only dropped this week, but it already has fans shocked with its ultra provocative collection of scenes. The Disney+ and Hulu show is set in 1980s Los Angeles and follows a teenage social circle at an elite prep school as they navigate identity, sex, jealousy, obsession and adolescence. Containing scenes of gender-fluid romping and solo sex acts, the series also sees partygoers snorting cocaine in mansions and even some murder thrown into the mix. Not shying away from sex scenes, the show sees the cast stripped down to their underwear during several episodes. Whilst one sees Kaia’s character, Susan Reynolds, strip down to her underwear for a skinny dipping session with the group – where she gets hot and heavy with Homer’s character. In another X-rated moment, actor Igby Rigney is enthralled in a steamy same-sex cinch with a classmate as the pair are seen naked and intertwined. Bret, who Igby portrays, is seen in the series’ most graphic scenes as the story depicts his ‘double life’ with men away from his girlfriend.
