TUDA launches drone survey for Settipalle Model Township project

Photo: KV Poornachandra Kumar | Photo Credit: KV POORNACHANDRA KUMAR The Tirupati Urban Development Authority (TUDA) launched a drone survey on Monday as a prelude to the preparation of the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for its much-awaited Settipalle Model Township project. The survey aims to cover an area of 223.63 acres of land allotted by TUDA to the beneficiaries, ahead of creating the essential infrastructure.TUDA Chairman C. Divakar Reddy, who inspected the the survey conducted by Hyderabad-based NCPE Infrastructure India Private Limited, reiterated TUDA’s resolve to hand over physical possession of the plots to the beneficiaries. “In tune with the promise made by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the plots are all set to be handed over to the beneficiaries, as the registration process is almost completed,” he said.With the drone survey, the DPR would be prepared to create infrastructure facilities such as cement concrete roads, storm water drainage system, drinking water supply, electrical sub-station, underground drainage system, sewage treatment plant, electrical/gas crematorium, besides linking the master plan roads in the layout with Karakambadi road and Renigunta road on either side.TUDA secretary N.V. Sreekanth Babu claimed that the township would become a prime residential locality in Tirupati region in the near future.Superintending Engineer K. Ravindraiah, Assistant Planning Officer K.
