Tuc Watkins Joins Prime Video Rom-Com Series ‘Escorted’

EXCLUSIVE: Tuc Watkins (Paradise, SWAT: Exiles) has joined the cast of Brett Goldstein’s new Prime Video series Escorted in a heavily recurring role, sources close to production tell Deadline. He will play Neil, who looks like a cowboy. He is a trainer at a high-end gym and a male escort to wealthy women on the side, we hear. In Escorted, a divorced Manhattan dad accidentally becomes a male escort in a romantic comedy about sexual dynamics, keeping secrets, and whether real intimacy can ever be bought. The previously announced cast of the eight-episode, single-camera half-hour series includes Lesley Manville and Leslie Bibb. Goldstein will star, executive produce, write and co-showrun via his overall deal with Warner Bros Television, which produces the series. Brian Gallivan (Shrinking, Happy Endings) will serve as executive producer and co-showrunner. Josh Senior (The Bear) also executive produces alongside Molly Mandel, Jamie Lee and Tyson Bidner. Watch on Deadline Watkins is currently recurring on Hulu’s hit series Paradise and appeared in the second season of ABC’s Shifting Gears. His TV credits also include HBO Max’s The Other Two, Showtime’s Black Monday, and series regular roles on ABC’s Desperate Housewives, Showtime’s Beggars and Choosers, and ABC’s One Life to Live. Up next, he will recur in the Starz series S.W.A.T. Exiles. His film credits include The Mummy opposite Brendan Fraser, The Good Shepherd directed by Robert De Niro, and Retake. He recently wrapped on an independent feature, Cowboy. Watkins is represented by Artium Talent and Karen Forman Management.
