TTD cancels Arjitha Sevas, special darshans during Brahmotsavams

A view of the temple of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala. | Photo Credit: File Photo The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced the cancellation of several Arjitha Sevas and special darshan categories during the annual Salakatla Brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara, scheduled to be organised in Tirumala from September 15 to 23.According to the TTD, the Arjitha Sevas such as ‘Astadala Pada Padmaradhana Seva’, ‘Tiruppavada Seva’, ‘Arjita Kalyanotsavam’, ‘Unjal Seva’ and ‘Sahasra Deepalankarana Seva’ will remain suspended throughout the festival period.The TTD has also cancelled special darshan privileges for the senior citizens, physically challenged, parents with infants, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and donors during the Brahmotsavams.The TTD has appealed to the devotees to take note of the changes and plan their pilgrimage accordingly.
