Natalie Harp, 35, an executive assistant to the president who is a near constant fixture in his orbit, revealed to the Washingtonian how she manages stress of a very demanding job with a mercurial boss. 'Working hard and fast comes naturally to me,' she said, noting her academic prowess. ''Work' is not a place you go to 8 to 5, but something you do until everyone, and everything, you are responsible for is taken care of, to the best of your ability.''Living by this maxim means being 'on call' for the Administration, Congress, and the Citizens we serve, around the clock, but our Country deserves no less,' she added.Dubbed the 'human printer' for her habit of printing out articles for Trump to read, many in the West Wing have praised Harp for sacrificing her personal time to spend it near the president working, whether at the White House or traveling on Air Force One.Her one complaint, that the world does not move as fast as she and her boss. 'Washington, DC does not work at the speed of 'TRUMP!'' Harp said when asked about the hardest part of her job.She said that many in the capital lack a 'sense of urgency' all while 'the radical left tries to stop, or slow down, the momentum the President is building.' 'We have only four years to, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN,' Harp wrote, almost using her boss's favorite saying verbatim. The 35-year-old also shed light on the 'rare gift' Trump has that many don't often see.'Throughout his career, the President has never compartmentalized people into their demographics, but rather has the rare gift of seeing something in people that perhaps they don't see in themselves, male or female,' Harp said. White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, the first ever female in that role, is one of Harp's role models. 'Success is determined not just by what is achieved, but under what circumstances,' Harp said, mentioning how Wiles has set an example by undergoing cancer treatment while maintaining one of the most demanding jobs in Washington. Harp herself is a cancer survivor who credits the president with saving her life because of his first-term 'Right to Try' initiative that allowed critically sick patients to try novel therapies that lacked FDA approval. In Harp's case, she recovered from bone cancer after the use of an experimental drug provided to her through the Trump-backed initiative. 'In the end, History will remember us not for our gender, years lived, or at what age we reached what the World sees as 'success' but, by what we did, and that, will outlive us!' Harp said.
