The terms of the truce remain unclear, but Iranian officials described it as the “only offer on the table” and a “temporary deal” . It comes as Trump warned he was seriously considering restarting major combat operations against the rogue nation after almost two weeks of renewed strikes. “I am considering a massive attack. Bigger than ever before,” Trump told Axios. “I am close to making a decision. We are all set for it.” Asked whether any operation would be carried out alongside Israel, Trump said the country “would join in two minutes if I ask them to”. But Trump stopped short of saying US forces would require Israeli support.
