Trump takes children on tour of helipad and ballroom construction sites

President Donald Trump led a tour of about 30 children and other special guests around the White House‘s helipad and ballroom construction sites.“Now, I don’t know if anybody wants to do this, but I’m going to be walking down here in about two minutes to meet with the people that are building the heliport, and you’ll see right alongside of it the great structure that’s rising right next to the White House, and that’s going to be the ballroom/military complex,” Trump told a crowd in the Rose Garden on Monday. “It’s incredible.” Recommended Stories President Donald Trump speaks during a back to school event in the Rose Garden of the White House, Monday, Aug. 24, 2026, in Washington.
