Trump says to deliver 'speech to the nation' Thursday as Iran tensions escalate

President Trump's announcement of a prime-time address amid escalating tensions with Iran signals a significant moment in US-Iran relations. The backdrop includes Trump's recent decision to reimpose a naval blockade on Iran and charge a 20% fee on ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz. This move could heighten regional tensions and has global implications, especially for international trade routes and diplomatic relations. Trump's speech aims to clarify the US strategy, but its vague nature leaves many wondering about the specifics and potential consequences.
