Trump quips Paxton is ‘pain in the ass,’ ‘a little controversial’
AI Summary
President Trump made some candid comments about Texas Senate GOP candidate Ken Paxton, calling him "a pain in the ass" and noting he's "a little controversial" during campaign stops in Texas and Oklahoma. These remarks, made just weeks before the November elections, are unusual given Trump's endorsement of Paxton. The context matters as it highlights the challenges faced by candidates who have Trump's backing despite their own controversies, potentially impacting voter perception and the broader political landscape.
