Tributes to ‘wonderful & vibrant’ mum-of-two found dead at home as man, 60, charged with murder

TRIBUTES have been paid to a “wonderful and vibrant” mum who was found dead at home, as police charge a man with murder. Anna Zukowska, 52, was discovered at home in Ollerton, Nottinghamshire, just before 8pm on Sunday, September 6. The mum-of-two, who had “her whole life ahead of her” leaves behind two sons. Formal identification is yet to take place, however Anna’s family have been made aware and are being supported by specially trained officers. Sign up for The Sun newsletter Thank you! In a family statement, they said: “Anna was a wonderful, vibrant person who was full of life and had so many plans for the future. “She leaves behind countless friends whose lives she touched. “Her mother, her sister and sons are deeply heartbroken and struggling to process the unimaginable tragedy. “We respectfully ask for privacy during this painful time and the family place their trust in the justice system to hold the person responsible for this crime fully accountable.” Jozef Zbigniew Oleszek, aged 60, was arrested the same day Anna was found and charged with murder yesterday. He has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates Court today. Most read in The Sun Detective Inspector Stu Barson, who is leading the investigation, said: “The family and friends of Anna Zukowska are at the forefront of this investigation. “We cannot even begin to imagine the pain and suffering they are going through right now and will continue to support them in every way possible.”
