TRIBUTES have been paid to a “beautiful and loving” mum who died after she was knocked down while waiting for a bus. The force said a 55-year-old man from Corby was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving a vehicle while unfit through drugs. Sign up for The Sun newsletter Thank you! He has been released on bail pending further enquiries. Now, Danielle’s family has released a heartbreaking tribute, describing her as a “loving mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister and aunty”. It read: “Danielle was such a beautiful and loving mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister and aunty and was loved by so many. “We are just beyond heartbroken and cannot believe that she has gone. “In her short life she left a remarkable stamp on this world, and we cannot put into words just how much we are going to miss her. “We are so thankful for everybody’s love and support during this difficult time, but while we try to come to terms with the loss of Danielle, we would appreciate some time and space to grieve in private. Most read in The Sun “We would also ask that people do not speculate about what happened on social media and please allow the police to investigate the collision.” Cops say the black Vauxhall was travelling along Willow Brook Road and “appeared to be turning left into Fotheringhay Road, when the vehicle left its intended path and collided with a bus stop”. A teenage boy was also left with minor injuries following the incident. A police spokesperson said: “Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit would still like to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam footage which captured any part of the collision.”
