Shortly after news of his garden proposal to Taylor Swift in August 2025, the two were reported to be on the hunt for their “forever home” in the Cleveland area. It seems they found it; the Kansas City Chiefs tight end purchased a home near his native Cleveland Heights, Ohio, for $5.35 million, per the Wall Street Journal. The outlet, citing official property records, notes that Kelce closed on the lakefront estate in March, just four months before marrying the pop icon in a star-studded soirée at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.The eight-bedroom, 11-bathroom property is located in Bratenahl, Ohio, an affluent suburb roughly six miles northeast of Cleveland. According to Freshwater Cleveland, the historic residence was built in 1895 by Chicago-based architect Jarvis Hunt. Though the abode has seen a series of renovations over the years—with its original ballroom converted into a game room and home theater, and its gatehouse now a two-bedroom guest cottage—it retains much of its 19th-century Gilded Age charm, including plenty of original fireplaces.
