Travis Kelce Paired His Wedding Ring With a Killer Gold Cartier Watch

The Chiefs star’s new band—which matches his wife Taylor Swift’s—is surprisingly understated.Jamie Squire/Getty ImagesLast month, Travis Kelce acquired some new hardware to join the three Super Bowl rings he’s won with the Kansas City Chiefs: a wedding ring. The tight end married megastar Taylor Swift at Madison Square Garden on July 3, and while he’s kept a low profile since then, he was back in the public eye over the weekend during the Chiefs’ inaugural preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams.Walking into Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday, the 36-year-old was snapped wearing several gold pieces: a chunky bracelet on his right wrist, a Cartier Santos Skeleton on his left wrist (the same watch he wore when he signed his current one-year, $12-million deal with KC in March), and a gold wedding band on his ring finger. It was the first good look we’ve gotten of Kelce’s new ring, which was noticeably absent when he was photographed at the Chiefs’ training camp earlier in the summer.Alongside his jewelry, Kelce sported a matching black-and-gold Amiri set and a pair of Off-White x Nike Air Prestos. Across the pond, Swift was photographed that same day in England, where she was attending a friend’s wedding. Stacked above her diamond engagement ring was a gold band that matched her husband’s.Kelce and Swift have remained tight-lipped on the nuptials, though several key details have leaked (Adam Sandler officiated! Paul McCartney performed!). During an August 12 press conference, Kelce broke his silence on the event, calling it the “best night of my life,” “crazy,” and “full of a lot of celebration.”Swift and Kelce aren’t the only A-listers who have debuted their wedding rings recently. After a break from their press tours for The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Tom Holland and Zendaya were spotted wearing similarly matching gold wedding rings. Seems like beyond all the heat and humidity, there’s plenty of love in the air this summer, too.Sign up for Show Notes to get news on the latest runway shows, parties, and insider events on the international fashion circuit.Tyler Chin is GQ's associate wellness & grooming editor.
