Travis Kelce offered some of his first public comments about his wedding to Taylor Swift on a new episode of New Heights, the podcast he co-hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce. “It was insane, it was a night I’ll never forget,” Travis said. “Me and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up, from the vows to seeing everyone and how much fun we had that evening, and hearing that being relayed through everyone’s stories of that night. It was just magical, man. I wish it could have lasted longer than that. Once the drinks got served, everyone started to mosey out.” Travis also elaborated on the couple’s decision to hold the ceremony at Madison Square Garden, explaining that they wanted “to do it somewhere where we could have an intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions.” He added that “we needed to have a private feel, and MSG went above and beyond to give us that. I can’t thank everybody enough, not just who showed up, but [everyone who] helped put that show on.” He also gave a “special thank you” to Adam Sandler, revealing that the actor/comedian was specifically ordained in New York so he could officiate the ceremony. “The way he did it, in the very Sand-man style, and giving us more than what we could’ve imagined at that moment, knowing that it was the biggest night of our lives, it was absolutely insane.” “It was very cool to see how everybody interacted, and with no phones, people not having to be on guard, it makes everyone be in the moment and present,” Travis added of the evening. “It was so cool seeing everyone from my childhood mesh with everyone from Taylor’s childhood, her family and friends, and the people she works with, and the people we encountered through our careers and became good friends with… We wanted it to be a beautiful ceremony and made sure everyone left there having some fun.” Kelce and Swift were married at Madison Square Garden during a private ceremony on July 3rd, 2026. Until now, the couple has remained mostly quiet about the event, including keeping any official photos from the evening under wraps. pic.twitter.com/pPuTlHixRF — Taylor Swift HQ (@TSwiftHQ13) September 2, 2026
