The NFL star just chatted about his and Taylor’s wedding on New Heights, and revealed exactly why they chose New York City’s Madison Square Garden as the location.“We wanted to do it somewhere where we could have a very intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions,” Trav said. “We needed it to be a private feel. MSG went above and beyond to give us that. I can’t thank everybody enough that showed up but also that helped put the show on. It was a very magical, magical night.”Despite being in the middle of New York City, MSG was honestly one of the only places Taylor and Travis could get married with maximum privacy. For starters, guests who wanted to keep things low-key were able to arrive at the venue completely under the radar thanks to underground entrances. Meanwhile, there are no windows, which means Taylor and Travis avoided paparazzi and drone footage of their marriage. The couple also worked with New York City itself to cordon off streets around MSG, which helped keep security tight. Plus, it’s hard to think of another venue that could easily accommodate their 1,000-person guest list.But on top of alllll that, MSG is used to expansive set pieces. Meaning Taylor and Travis were able to completely design and build their dreamy wedding ceremony and reception area (with the help of their planner), and have everything outta there by the next day.
