Train services on Mangaluru-Bengaluru sector resume after two-day suspension

A track-fit certificate was issued to operate trains through the affected stretch at 7.25 p.m. on Monday, he added. Earthmovers were pressed into service to remove debris while personnel stabilised the affected slope with sandbags and other support material.Mr Mittal supervised the restoration work on Sunday. He said emergency lights were provided to facilitate debris clearance through the night, enabling the track to be cleared. Late on Monday evening, the track-fit certificate was issued, he said.
