The bucket was able to carry around 20 litres, according to police, though this has not been verified by forensics. Health workers frantically tried to resuscitate the tiny boy – and called in the town’s emergency department to help. Tragically, one-year-old Thalison could not be saved. The youngster would have celebrated his second birthday on Friday, September 4. Police have launched a probe into his death and sealed off the family home for forensic investigations. The child’s body has also been sent for post-mortem examinations to establish the official cause of death.
