Toyota has given the Urban Cruiser Hyryder a darker edge with the new Aero Black Edition, adding blacked-out styling elements for buyers seeking a sportier look without mechanical changes.Toyota Urban Cruiser HyryderToyota has given the Urban Cruiser Hyryder a cosmetic makeover with the launch of the new Aero Black Edition. Priced at Rs 31,999, the limited-period package adds a set of black-finished exterior accessories to the SUV, without altering its mechanicals or feature list.Available on the Midnight Black G and V variants of both the Neo Drive and Strong Hybrid versions, the package is aimed at buyers looking for a more distinctive appearance. It brings black garnishes for the upper grille, headlamps and tailgate, along with a front spoiler, rear spoiler and an exclusive Aero Black Edition badge.There are no changes under the bonnet. The Hyryder continues with its 1.5-litre petrol engine in Neo Drive guise, offered with manual and automatic gearboxes, while select versions also get all-wheel drive. The Strong Hybrid combines a 1.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor and e-drive transmission, with a claimed fuel efficiency of 27.97kmpl.The Aero Black Edition also retains the standard SUV's equipment, including 17-inch alloy wheels, LED DRLs, ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging and a 360-degree camera. Toyota says the Hyryder has crossed two lakh sales since its launch in 2022.
