Toxic foam floods Kelavarapalli Dam: Farmers demand action

Toxic foam has once again become a concern around Kelavarapalli Dam in Krishnagiri district, with farmers raising concerns over the impact on agriculture, livestock and local communities. The dam receives water from Karnataka during the monsoon. Farmers allege that sewage discharge from Karnataka is contributing to the persistent foam and pollution in the water. Despite repeated demands for action, the problem continues.
