Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Junaid said: “This series there is a lot of love, there’s an engagement, a baby, but there is a spot of chaos, anything to do with me is always going to be a bit chaotic.” Junaid continued: “The engagement went terrible, the actual night when we announced it to the cast.” Junaid popped the question to Joe on the cast away trip to Albania Credit: ITV But a source said that not everyone wanted to stay and celebrate with the couple Credit: ITV Saffron explained: “Joe and Junaid dropped the big news in front of everyone and we were all together in Albania. Junaid said: “You can imagine the reaction,” to which Saffron said: “There were a lot of people talking after that. There was mixed emotions.” Meanwhile, a source told us: “The cast were very much divided over Junaid and Joe’s big news, some of the stars decided to end filming early and head back to their hotel room instead of staying to celebrate the engagement.” Joe’s ex-boyfriend Harry Derbidge also shared his reaction to the proposal news while attending ITV’s reality showcase last month. Most read in Showbiz Speaking about his ex’s engagement, Harry said: “Obviously it’s never nice, I gave them a little clap, congratulated them and off I went.” Towie icon and Harry’s cousin Amy said: “I actually surprised Harry in Albania, Harry needed me, I walked in and you’ll see that on the show.” Harry summed up the series saying: “It’s been a rollercoaster, a lot of emotions, a little bit of drama, but there’s also been a lot of love.” With love all around him, Harry said he’s leaped back into the dating pool and has been enjoying looking for love without the pressure. He said: “I’ve definitely looked at some dating apps but I’m not putting any pressure on everything. I spent so long looking for love and to settle down. “The funny thing, two years later, I’ve been single for two years now, I’m so independent that I’m used to it. “When the times right and I meet someone, lovely. “One day I will like to meet someone, it is hard dating when you’re in the public eye because you never know someone’s true intention and I think that didn’t play out very well last time.” Amy said: “You were just not meant to be with these people because you are meant to be with someone so amazing and one day you really will,” to which Harry said: “Manifestation… manifest a good man to come to my life.” Harry continued: “I felt like I spent so long just to organically meet someone on a night out, it’s so hard, so I thought ‘if you can’t beat them, join them’ and I set it up. “I had a little look, I’ve been on the Hinge and Tinder. There’s definitely no wedding bells yet.” When asked if he would bring his future boyfriend on Towie, Harry said: “I don’t know, but in the same breathe, I put everything out there, so I don’t feel like I could be with someone and hide that, let’s just hope it doesn’t go that way again. I’ll cross that bridge when it comes.” But a hesitant Amy said: “Look what happened to Joe, I wouldn’t go there hun.” On last night’s episode, Junaid shared an emotional moment with Joe’s mum and he asked for her blessing to marry her son. The pair broke down in tears in the scene as Joe’s mum said her son was lucky to have Junaid and visa versa. Junaid then revealed the news to best pals Jodie and Ella, who began to put the proposal plans in motion. Comment now
