WorkSafe is investigating the death of a tow truck driver in Osborne Park on Tuesday morning.The woman, 29, was killed as she was unloading a car from a tow truck tilt tray at the yard about 5.40am.The scene of the workplace incident in Osborne Park.9 News Perth“WorkSafe investigators thoroughly examine the circumstances of incidents with a view to ensuring compliance and preventing future incidents of a similar nature,” the workplace safety watchdog said in a statement.Crews were called to the towing car yard near Collingwood Street around 5.40am on Tuesday.“Emergency services attended and emergency first-aid was immediately conducted, but a 29-year-old woman died at the scene,” a police spokeswoman said.“Police will prepare a report for the coroner.“WorkSafe has been advised of the incident and are investigating.”Workers could be seen consoling each other outside the gates of the business, while others spoke with police.From our partners
