Jackson, 25, is on pre-season tour with Chelsea after returning from a frustrating year on loan at Bayern Munich. The Senegal international, who is also a target for Aston Villa, is valued at £65m by Spurs’ London rivals. No formal approach has been made by Tottenham, who have previously looked into a deal for Jackson. The former Villarreal striker joined his Blues team-mates in Sydney for training last week after manager Xabi Alonso insisted he wanted to assess all his forward options during pre-season.
