Several oil giant executives were dropped from the agenda of the WPC Energy Congress in Riyadh, Reuters reports. According to the report, chief executives of ExxonMobil, TotalEnergies, Shell and BP were slated to appear at the c0nference but were dropped from the schedule which organisers released early on Monday. Riyadh has pressed on with the event despite a series of deadly attacks on the capital claimed by Yemen's Houthis. “To everyone who travelled to Riyadh, thank you,” said Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, who opened Monday’s session of the gathering for energy policy and industry. “You know this country is safe and that we hold your protection at whole heart…Our gathering here does not mean the risk is gone.” Reporting by Reuters
