The Fronx secured fourth place with 19,282 units, followed by the WagonR at 18,835 units. The Dzire, Hyundai Creta, Swift, Mahindra Scorpio/N and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga completed the list.Maruti Suzuki Baleno tops September salesWith 25,392 units sold, the Baleno led the September rankings, maintaining Maruti Suzuki's strong presence in the hatchback segment. Its lead over the second-placed Tata Nexon stood at 4,936 units, making it the only model in the top 10 to cross the 25,000-unit mark.The Tata Nexon secured second place with 20,456 units, narrowly ahead of the Tata Punch, which recorded 20,333 units. The difference between the two Tata models was just 123 units, indicating closely matched sales performance during the month. Maruti Suzuki's Fronx ranked fourth with 19,282 units, while the WagonR followed in fifth place with 18,835 units. The Dzire sedan recorded 17,754 units to take sixth place.Hyundai's Creta was the seventh best-selling car in September, with 17,657 units sold. It was followed by the Maruti Suzuki Swift, which recorded 17,399 units. The Mahindra Scorpio/N secured ninth place with 17,313 units, continuing the nameplate's presence among India's popular SUVs.
