Tony Adams shares heartwarming reason he sold £4m Cotswolds home to Liam Gallagher

Back in December, Gallagher, 53, bought the eight-bedroom house near Cirencester in Gloucestershire from Adams, with the Arsenal legend having initially listed the property at the beginning of 2025.The country home has five acres of land including a swimming pool, tennis courts, stables and an additional two-bedroom cottage, with Adams and his wife Poppy Teacher having lived at the property for 25 years.But Adams, 59, has now shared the reason for the sale, revealing in an interview that he and his wife are moving back to London so that Teacher, 52, can go back to university.Adams and his wife are moving back to LondonHelen Abraham Photography“This is a new era for us,” the Strictly Come Dancing star told The Daily Mail. “We’ve sold the house and are returning to London. My wife is going back to school.”Teacher, who is descendent of a famous whisky making family, explained: “I told Tony I wanted to do early modern history and he said, ‘How do you monetise that?’ And I said, ’You don’t!’“But I think he’s proud.
