Tom Homan fires back at ‘abolish ICE’ Democrats: Fentanyl, trafficking, and 151,000 children found

“They say they want to abolish ICE; even members of Congress say, ‘Let’s abolish ICE,’ but what they’re failing to tell the people is, we’re enforcing the laws that they wrote, that they enacted,” Homan said on Fox News’s One Nation with Brian Kilmeade Monday. “We’re not making this up.”Homan contrasted the Trump administration’s approach with the Biden administration, saying, “We were doing the same job we did under, you know, any other president, except under the last four years, under Joe Biden, ICE wasn’t allowed to enforce the law.” Homan then pointed to the agency’s arrest and deportation numbers. “If they look at the results of what ICE has done, right? Record numbers arrest, deportation,” Homan said. “In June, I arrested more illegal aliens at any time in the history of the agency. July, we blew June out of the water. August is gonna be the same thing.” .@realTomHoman on anti-ICE Democrats: "So you want to abolish an agency that found 151,000 children. You want to abolish an agency that seized enough fentanyl to kill every American three times over again. You want to abolish an agency that is attacking sex trafficking" pic.twitter.com/kjfBWK7Kum— Rapid Response 47 (@RapidResponse47) August 17, 2026 ICE recorded more than 43,000 arrests in June, while the agency and Customs and Border Protection averaged roughly 1,593 arrests per day during the first 11 days of July. Homan emphasized ICE’s focus on immigrants with criminal histories. “And people didn’t even remember. Just shorter, 70% of everybody we arrest is a criminal,” he said. “So we’re removing hundreds of thousands of criminals from their neighborhoods, making their neighborhoods safe again.”Homan also defended ICE’s role in locating migrant children, saying, “But they have it, answer, abolish, and ICE. OK, I just found 151,000 missing children that were smuggling during the Biden administration; they lost track of,” he said. “Some of these children were victims of sex trafficking. Some were forced into labor. We rescued those children, 151,000.”TOM HOMAN INSISTS ICE IS NOT NARROWING DEPORTATION AGENDA“So we want to abolish the agency that found 151,000 children,” he said. “You want to abolish an agency that seized enough fentanyl to kill every American three times over again. You want to abolish the agency that is attacking sex trafficking, women and children across that border,” Homan said.“It just don’t make sense,” Homan said. “Again, we’re making this country safe again; the numbers prove it. Simply look at the data.”
