MobLand season 2 returns with more violent action The gangster series isn't slowing down The Harrigans might have eliminated a powerful rival in the first season, but the war has only just begun. In season 2, the Harrigans are as fractured as they've ever been, meaning new enemies are looking to strike soon. Harry Da Souza (Hardy), the Harrigans' top fixer, is burdened with cleaning up the family's messes. Harry can't fully stop a crime war, and his unpredictable bosses, Conrad (Brosnan) and Maeve (Mirren), don't make things any easier for him. The renewal is not a surprise, given the inaugural season's strong viewership numbers. However, Hardy's status for season 3 was uncertain following reports of the actor's firing after season 2 wrapped production. Hardy allegedly had numerous issues with Butterworth, 101 Studios, and others involved with the show. Eventually, Hardy and MobLand's producers hashed out their differences and left the door open for a return. Now, Hardy will officially be back for MobLand season 3, which does not have a release date. MobLand is one of the best new shows to watch this weekend.
