Tom Brady slaps Logan Paul at Fanatics Fest, separated by Karl-Anthony Towns

There were apparently some fireworks at Fanatics Fest on Friday. Tom Brady slapped Logan Paul on stage and had to be separated by Karl-Anthony Towns. It’s unclear what was said between Brady and Paul. Once the former New England Patriots star landed the slap, though, Towns got in the middle to help break the two up. Brady and Paul are among the big names in New York for Friday at Fanatics Fest, which goes through Sunday. Earlier Friday, LeBron James took the stage for “The Shop Live,” and Saturday’s lineup features a slew of NBA stars. Towns, Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart and Mikal Bridges will join Taylor Rooks for a celebration of the Knicks’ NBA title. A taping of Shannon Sharpe’s Nightcap will also take place Saturday. Brady is gearing up for his third season as FOX’s lead NFL color commentator alongside Kevin Burkhardt. He entered the broadcast booth after a decorated career with the Patriots and Buccaneers, winning seven Super Bowls – six with New England and another in Tampa Bay. However, the debate continues about whether Brady or Bill Belichick was most responsible for the run in New England. Earlier this month, during an appearance on the New Heights podcast with Travis and Jason Kelce, Brady made his thoughts clear on that discussion. “I think he’s the greatest head coach in terms of preparing a team to win,” Brady said. “There was nobody better. It was my privilege to play for him as his quarterback. There’s no coach I’d rather choose, and it’s a dumb analogy. It’s like, what’s more important, the left tackle or the center?” As he looked back on the Patriots’ run, Tom Brady pointed out the importance of the entire roster. It came down to executing the play call and putting in the work. “There’s nobody more important to winning Monday through Saturday than the head coach. There’s nobody more important on Sunday than the quarterback,” Brady said. “Now, everybody’s important. … The quarterback just has an outsized ability to help the team win because he touches the ball so much. But I need everybody to do their job. “If you have bad quarterback play, it doesn’t matter what else you do, you’re not gonna win. And if you have bad coaching, it doesn’t matter how well the players are doing, you’re gonna lose.”
