An Iceland spokesperson said: “We’re excited to bring the much-loved flavours of Toby Carvery to shoppers in a fresh and innovative way. Most read in Money “By combining the hearty, comforting tastes of a traditional Sunday roast with creative new formats, we’ve created a range that appeals to a wider variety of tastes, lifestyles and dining occasions.” However, reviews online have seen people divided over the new frozen-meal range. UKnewestfoods, known for spotting and reviewing all the latest supermarket drops, gave a less-than-glowing verdict on Instagram. “This is not a Toby Carvery dinner” it began, with the foodie pointing out that while the meal selection bears the branding of the food chain, it doesn’t actually include items you can buy at Toby Carvery. She went on to describe the range as “awful” and a “glorified microwave meal”. Her conclusion on the dishes was clear: “Overall, I’m just not impressed” There were some positive reviews for the new dishes though, as one person shared: “My boys and me had the hunters pigs in blanket Mac and cheese on Saturday, and they was really nice, and the hubby had the loaded yorkie breakfast which he enjoyed.” Comment now
