He was 80.Born in Cheshire, England, in 1946, the British singer and actor began his career on London's West End. He went on to receive multiple Emmy, Grammy and Tony awards, alongside additional acclaim, throughout his decades in the business.Curry was best known for his portrayal of cross-dressing scientist Dr. Frank-N-Furter in "Rocky Horror," the 1975 musical comedy movie in which he starred alongside the likes of Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick.
