Tiger Woods’ toppled as leader of golf’s all-time earnings list as American superstar surges past $120 million

But with the $40 million purse at the Tour Championship now counting as official money, Scheffler brought home $10 million to bring his career total to $130,390,661. Woods never played for more than a $10 million purse in his peak years, but still brought home $120,999,166 in his career. Scheffler won three tournaments this year, tying him for the most in the PGA. And that could help him make some more history with a possible fifth consecutive PGA Tour Player of the Year award. That would tie him with Woods for the most consecutive awards. “This was a week I brought a lot of good energy to the course and tried to do my best,” Scheffler said at the trophy presentation.
