Tiger Shroff firing case: Third woman arrested; total arrests rise to 13

File. | Photo Credit: PTI The Mumbai Crime Branch police arrested a 22-year-old woman from Haryana in connection with the firing involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff in Juhu last month, taking the total number of arrests in the case to 13.According to a press note issued by the Crime Branch on Monday (November 2, 2026), the woman was arrested in Karnal district in Haryana on Sunday (November 1, 2026), with assistance from the local police. Investigators suspect her involvement in the conspiracy behind the shooting.The incident took place on the evening of October 18, when assailants opened fire near a football ground in Juhu as Mr. Shroff was leaving the area. His driver and a bystander were injured in the incident.A case was subsequently registered at the Juhu police station under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Arms Act before the investigation was transferred to the Mumbai Crime Branch.The investigation has since expanded beyond Maharashtra, with the Crime Branch arresting suspects from Kota in Rajasthan, Delhi and Sonipat in Haryana. Two women were among those earlier arrested in Delhi in connection with the alleged weapons supply network, making the latest accused the third woman to be arrested in the case.The Crime Branch also invoked provisions of the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) on October 27, following which all 11 accused arrested at that stage were produced before a special MCOCA court. The court permitted the Crime Branch to formally arrest them under the stringent organised crime law.Investigators are also probing the alleged involvement of absconding gangster Anil Pandit, believed to be associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, in the conspiracy behind the shooting.The latest arrest follows the apprehension of another accused from Sonipat, who was subsequently remanded in police custody till November 6.Police have not disclosed the identity of the woman arrested from Karnal or specified her alleged role in the conspiracy.
