TIFF Centrepiece To Showcase 54 Features With Kamila Andini’s ‘Four Seasons in Java’ & Avi Nesher’s ‘Our Loves’ Among World Premieres

The Toronto International Film Festival has unveiled its 2026 Centrepiece lineup showcasing 54 features representing from 50 countries. The selection features 10 world premieres including for Four Seasons in Java by Indonesian director Kamila Andini, who won the TIFF 2021 Platform Award for Yuni; Israeli director Avi Nesher’s October 7 drama Our Lives, and Indian filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj’s Dorothy, produced by Oscar-winner and Toronto regular Guneet Monga. There will also be international premieres for Cannes titles including Camera d’Or winner Ben’Imana by Rwandan director Marie-Clementine Dusabejambo and Jury Prize winner The Dreamed Adventure by German filmmaker Valeska Grisebach as well as French director Marine Atlan’s La Gradiva, which won Cannes Critics’ Week. Venice Golden Lion contender Woman Unknown by Danish-Egyptian director May el-Toukhy as well as Venezia Spotlight title Conversation With The Sea by Palestinian filmmaker Muayad Alayan have also made the cut. Watch on Deadline There is also a strong animated component with Leah Nelson’s Tangles making its North American premiere, and other TIFF-selected feature animations including Annecy winner The Violinist as well as Julián and Viva Carmen.
